Can guest VM display through host video card?

Hi

I'm running TrueNAS-SCALE-22.02.0 and was wondering if it is possible to route the output from one of my Linux guest VMs to the video card on the host? I've seen talk of GPU passthrough, but it seemed to revolve around a second video card which I don't really have space for. Any ideas how to get the VM's display up on my physical monitor?

This should not be a problem once you'll be able to assign your existing/single video card to your VM, however this has not been implemented yet, here is the open ticket.

Other than using a secondary client (like a thin client) with VNC, there's really no way to get your VM to output to a monitor directly attached to the server.
