Broke my jails :-(

Hi,

I was playing around with permissions, also the dataset for the jails got full and had to delete some files.
but now i can't access any of my jails, and even if i create a new jail i can't connect to it.

i can however ping them.
i am not even sure how to start investigating....what logs should i be looking at?

- What files did you delete? Jail files or just random user data?
- What permissions did you change?
- And did you make them with warden (old gui) or iocage (new gui)?

You could try jexec/jls (https://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/jails-build.html) to access the jails. If that is too much trouble, you could of course also consider starting again with a fresh jail and migrating the config/data from the old one. Especially if your current jails were made with warden, then you can migrate to iocage to access the jails in the new gui.

I delete some linux iso's that i accidentally put in the wrong dataset.
everything was created with new GUI, as i mentioned....even creating a new jail didn't work.

Changed permissions to 777....had to test something
