Hello guys,
I want ti use a supermicro servers with BCM57508 100Gb/s network but the driver it's not existed, I think :-(
root@server-01[~]# dmesg | grep net pci5: <network, ethernet> at device 0.0 (no driver attached)
do you have any idea or experience with this card?
I use TrueNAS-13.0-U5.3 + AMD EPYC 7543 32-Core Processor
I already add ix_bxe_load = YES as loader
thank you

Nope, Broadcom NICs and FreeBSD do not mix, I'm afraid. Intel is a safe choice, Chelsio was the best one for 10GbE, but that may no longer be the case with 100GbE...

As stated earlier, Broadcom + Free BSD = Pain. We use Intel X520, X710, XXV710, and XXV810 NICs. We also use Chelsio 100Gbe NICs. We learned the Broadcom lesson many years ago and either avoid them in new builds, or disable them if we're unable to avoid them.
