I am trying to create a setup where my VMs can access the NAS. To do so I created a bridge interface. The host and VMs can ping each other over the bridge. However, all of them have lost the ability to talk out to the rest of the network. My bridge member is a vlan, which goes out over a bond of two 10Gb NICs. My understanding is that the bridge should just be able to talk out the member interface, in this case a vlan. Not sure what is going on, unless somehow the bridge is bypassing the vlan settings and going straight to the bond, failing to tag traffic with the correct vlan number. Originally I created the VMs and attached them to the vlan. As expected, so I later found out, they could ping everything out on the network except TrueNAS. TrueNAS could also talk to the rest of the network. Now none of them can.
