Hi guys

My power recently went out which of course turned of my FreeNAS. I got the power back and turned it on, but it's not booting FreeNAS. My server is not hooked up to any monitor or keyboard, and i know it's hanging with me having to press some key. Do i really have to plug a screen and a keyboard and press that key every time it has a power failure? I can't remember what key it is, but it has happened before, and i remember that i just had to plugin my screen and keyboard and it was solved. I just don't wanna do that every time.

Depends. Are you using a proper server board with a network aware IPMI/BMC subsystem? If so, hook that up and use it to access the console over your network.

Typically, it's F1 to continue, but that's an educated guess more than any remote vision thing, and doesn't fix the problem, whatever it may be. :)

Even with a desktop board there should be a BIOS setting you can change so it doesn't halt on errors.
