Hi All,
I've got two Win10 machines connecting to TrueNAS-SCALE-22.12.0. Both machines can see "TRUENAS" in the network tab of explorer, both machines attempt login, both seem to reject incorrect details but only one will allow login with correct details. The other comes back saying 80070035 the network path was not found. I can ping the server by IP from the bad client but it does not resolve the name. I can't recall if the DHCP flag is set as on by default but it is currently on for the server's interface.

Typing //192.168.1.104 in explorer lets me view the root but then I can't enter any sub-directories.

It is currently not set to inherit from DHCP on the main eth0.

Also enabling DHCP in global config for the network adapter in truenas seemed to fix with name resolution...there's a lot to learn.

For anyone stumbling on this thread, you may find that setting the guest account to something other than nobody (ie create an account with smb share privileges) will alleviate some access issues. I was finding I could access the share from one machine but must have enabled guest access at some point and so other machines that were not authenticated were able to view the root of the share but not any deeper folders.
