So, upon installing Truenas i have encountered several issues. and i have no idea how to come about them.

My main issue has been in bhyve.

Ive been trying to install 3cx VM with the debian 9 image provided by them (also tried the Debian 10.7 image)

https://prnt.sc/w9a7ln - the iso location, the ISO is there and i have verified it.

https://prnt.sc/w9aa2s - boot from file menu. it doesnt seem like it sees any ISO at all

im using TrueNAS-12.0-U1, with dual xeon and 32gb ram in a dell t620 (not that any my system specs matter)

Is anyone able to provide me any idea how i go about this, as i have opened up the iso and it has .efi files

I managed to do this install.

The problem with 3CX distro ISO is that it uses legacy BOOT information.
WinISO shows Bootable CD/DVD.
The original DEBIAN ISO shows EFI Bootable. And it boots!

So I've done it - straight forward, took original ISO file, removed it's contents and replaced with 3CX contents, jut to use EFI Boot info from original ISO (may be there are better ways, but I did not succeed just with replacing boot info)

Anyway had to fix the issue with grub described here
