Hello all
I would consider myself a newbie with regards to freenas. I had to re-install freenas several times and I believe (thanks to the help I received from the gents on the forum) that I have the installation down path. Now that i have set up a complete redundant server in my house I am ready to explore the additional functionalities provided by freenas.
Is there a compendium of best practices for freenas a guide to what when and how to maintain and further develop a freenas installation
There are documents and videos to install freenas and this helps a lot.
The guide would assist individuals such as myself who use freenas for home use and do not have the experience of running a data environment and save much time for looking for articles on such a subject and conversely save the community time in responding to repetitive questions.
I know that there are articles on backups, hardware maintenance and repair, services, tasks solution maintenance etc.
These would be of infinite help.
Is there such a guide?
If so where could i find it?
If not I would be happy to help to build one ... I would however a principal to vet my work, guide me and mentor me.
Just a thought
