I recently migrated from core to latest Scale in oder to work around some SMB issues with OSX and now I was testing NFS as it's definitely stopped the hard SMB disconnects I was getting with large folders. I read that in order to get better NFS performance I need to set some specific mount options but I have no idea what these are and how to set them from a mac client. Can someone enlighten me? For context I'm am currently getting around 800MB/s over SMB and 10GB network but only around 200MB/s via NFS to the same pool so I was wondering if there's a way to improve this?
Screen shots SMB vs. NFS copying the same data. Faster = SMB.
NFS mounted via finder (command-K) with no additional parameters
Many thanks!
