Badblock help

Hi fitting a new drive so I ran both short & long smart tests with no errors, then I ran badblock test and checked every couple of hours and it seemed to be running fine with no errors till the last time I checked it was at 95%, then I checked again in another couple of hours and the report was connection reset or something similar. So will retry again later today anything else I can try ?

run it in a tmux session so that disconnecting your computer from the terminal doesn't interrupt the process.

Thanks it was run through tmux but I think after reading I should have attached or connected again. Atm I am into it 2 hours for a new run

If you view the badblocks log file (if you have one created), you can see where it stopped and resume from there, rather than start all over again.

sorry i didn't and don't know how to get a log file, will have a look to see
