Need some help on this one...

My FreeNAS server stopped booting the other day. I have an ASRock C2750D4i motherboard. The board does get power up, the BMC heartbeat LED does blink after the board finishes powering up, the STB PWR ready light is on and solid green, and none of the fan warning lights are on. I do hear the hard drives spin up but the system never boots into my FreeNAS software and there is no VGA output.

I have tried pulling the memory sticks then booting the system by alternating between each stick. That didn't work.

Oddly, I can get access to the board via IPMI through my browser but I'm not sure what I'm looking at here.

Not sure what to try next. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Mike

Is it an old unit? Avoton boards all needs replacements if they're older than ~February of this year or so. ASRock C2x50D4I boards also had a nasty BMC bug.

Contact ASRock Rack support and have them replace the board, even if it's out of warranty.

Yes, I built this server in early 2015. I submitted a support request through ASRock's website this morning. Haven't heard back from them.

Why did the Avoton boards need to be replaced?
