If you watch a graph, it does not move.
You have to switch away to some other function then back to reporting to see what has happened in the intervening time.
Is this normal operation?

Thank You

The reporting module uses RRDgraph, which has never had live graphing capability.

Yes, and if you're a cardiologist, this might bother you. For many other people, though, it is the way graphs are expected to work. It's super-frustrating to catch some event happen and then have it scroll its merry way off the screen. Most of the "live graphing" attempts seem to have weird browser incompatibilities and glitches anyways.

I wouldn't object to such an option existing, but I'd much prefer it to be an option than a default. You can use "Report a Bug" at the top to make a feature request.

Grafana is great if you prefer a live view. The collectd present in TrueNAS uses the graphite plaintext protocol and can easily feed into e,g, InfluxDB --> Grafana.

No need to bug report.
I just wanted to know how it was designed to work.
Thank you gentlemen.
