All the time.

The first time was after I started really posting. I could never hope to read everything in the forum all the way back, so I used it.

Now, it's used regularly to clear out sections I don't read (plugins, jails, languages I don't speak) and whenever my backlog gets excessive.

I'm the same, with one modification. I click "Mark Forums Read" as soon as the "New Posts" page loads. Why you ask? Because I open that link in a new window and it leads to a confirmation page. It also is limited by the timestamp from when you click the link. So I can click the link, read through the "New Posts", confirm the "Mark Forums Read" page, click "New Posts" again to see anything that was posted while I was reading through the previous list.
