Is it possible to use my old android tablet to output the FreeNAS display(use as the display monitor for my Freenas sever)?

For the local console? Simple answer is no.

Some sort of display? I guess you could set up the webGUI's monitoring page or maybe the dashboard on the tablet's web browser.

Some of the principles in this video may apply depending on how far you want to go to reuse that screen:

I have a dead old dell Laptop and will investigate. Now it's just out of curiosity and I used to work for a CRT monitor manufacturer (In R&D) so it's of interest and I love to mess with electronics.
with regards to using a tablet. It would be great if there were an option in the FreeNAS Menu to link a tablet to output the menu Like you can with windows(mirror and Via the Ip address).

My problem is solved. I am a new FreeNass User and did not realize you can shut down the server Via the FreeNass browser. that's all I wanted to be able to do. Now I can put the sever in a room out of the way and shut down using my tablet or pc.
Thank you Ericloewe
