Hello - I set up a iSCSI connection on my Freenas to one of my Servers and I want to make sure that only that server target can connect to the iSCSI connection on my Freenas. I'd rather not use chap so is there another way to do this? I've put the IP address of the server I want to access the iSCI in the initiator under Authorized network but i was still able to connect from another server.

Thanks - Scott

FreeNAS is the target, connecting clients are referred to as initiators. Just some vocabulary for you.

Initiators is where you will add your server IP not Authorized network. Make sure you remove the ALL lines.

Please review the FreeNAS Doc page about iSCSI specifically the initiators section.
