Alert Services Test Configuration

As the title suggests, I'm wondering about how one might test the Alert Services configuration in FN11. Is there perhaps something that could be run via the CLI to trigger a false warning or critical event? I've plugged in what I think to be correct values to alert through Slack, but want to be sure.

I would like to piggy back on this. I know in the newest nightly as of last night, I setup an AWS-SNS account. I saw that there is now a "Test Alert" button added to the Alert Service once you have configured it. You just hit edit, and the button should be there. But on that note, I have been unsuccessful in sending a test alert.

Ill open a new ticket on my portion of this.

Has anyone been able to successfully implement AWS-SNS?
