AFP Spotlight Indexing

Hi Guys,

i am new to FreeNAS and have a question to the FreeNAS Community.

I have recently bought a N54L and installed FreeNAS. One of the reasons i got a FreeNAS is because of Netatalk 3.1 and afp spotlight indexing feature.

I have created an afp share, mounted it on my mac and tried to search via spotlight but didnt get any results.

Does anyone knows how to get spotlight indexing to work? Would very appreciate your help.

I believe you need to manually enable indexing for the remote volume
mdutil -i on /Volumes/<your mounted volume name>

I did that but this didnt fix it
