AFP - error when creating share

Hello all, i am new to the freenas community and this is my first post. Hopefully this issue has not been discussed yet. i see a lot of AFP discussion but nothing similar to what i'm running into. first off, thanks for taking the time to help me out.

I believe the issue i'm having is self-inflicted, and not the result of a freenas issue. I recently upgraded from 9.2.1.5 to the 9.2.1.6 beta because i could not get the cifs service to stop (that is fixed now).

when i did the upgrade through the gui i did not disable any of the services doh!

I am able to open the "Add Apple (AFP) Share" window but after i click ok this is what i get (screenshot attached.

Before I upgraded AFP was working like a champ along with everything else. Timemachine with both my macbook pro and the wife's mba worked great. I have been just living without AFP for a while now, and i don't remember exactly how i got to where i am now. i have no AFP shares configured.

The AFP share i'm trying to add is not a dataset shared with another protocol. My CIFS and NFS shares are separate datasets.

Thank You dlavigne. I finally got around to creating a bug Id for this issue.

Issue #5321 created.

I received a reply that the issue was resolved in 9.2.1.6 RC. I re-created the issue with 9.2.1.6 RC and that is what I used to create the bug ID. The top half of the response is below. If the issue was resolved i wouldn't have been able to recreate it with that version. It is a low priority as far as i'm concerned, and thank you for all your hard work on this project.

This was fixed with 5719170480fc17203b8bf309dbdad5a9c29ef918 dc74b8cea62714809cc4df73fbb6bb9b453d1d60 and e169d0f43dd5a9c982576e941b5f071194bd30da which happened after the version you are running. The RC has the changes in it.

This issue was resolved in the latest release of 9.2.1.6 for me.
