I am trying to add a second USB flash drive to my FreeNAS BOX (Latest release 8.3P1) to use as script storage and work space for several cron jobs (so I don't have to wake hard drives).
I plugged in the drive and created a Zfs volume using the GUI and specified a mount point of /mnt/usbdrive .
Drive works OK, but when I turn off or reboot FreeNAS hangs just after the uptime message with messages about disconnecting the usb drives. Any suggestions about how I can troubleshoot or possible reasons for the problem?
