Have a setup right nor 4x4TB mirrored. Can't remember which raid I'm using at the moment. Can I ad just one more disk to the pool or do I need to ad them in pairs?

if so what's the procedure for doing this with our loosing the existing data in the pool.

So you got two mirrored pairs of disks. You should add two disks to keep the same level of redundancy.
