Hi,
I am currently putting together my first media server at home using an Acer Revo Center RC-111. I have included the product pdf sheet in the here for this interested. The spec does not list a few things such as internal 2.5 drive bay (although I see no way to connect power to a drive SATA or otherwise), USB 3 ports and a VGA connection both which need the back plate removed to expose.
The system shipped with Win home Server 2011 but I have switched to freeNAS. Has anyone had any experience with this machine? The most interesting thing...or highly annoying to be honest is I have not been able to access the BIOS to change boot settings. I have installed the current freeNAS biuld on a 16gb flash drive and it runs great however, once I installed the storage hard drive, when restarting it tries to boot from that drive notifying me that no image is found progressing no further. I am sure boot order would solve this...if I could access the BIOS.
Any suggestions here would be great.
