I believe all new Supermicros have IPMI enabled from the factory.

The question is whether the IPMI is dhcp enabled or has a specific IP address on initial power up. If the latter, I hope it's documented.

DHCP is enabled by default. You can control this via the host's steup menu, as well. The MAC for all NICs, including the IPMI NIC, is printed on a sticker placed on your board. Positioning varies between boards.
