9.3 RELEASE, STABLE or latest?

9.3 RELEASE, STABLE or latest? What?! They all sound like the same thing to me. Which one would I choose for a fresh install?

STABLE, as it has the latest, verified bug fixes. "Latest" is the latest stuff, but not everything has been vetted as working. Once it has, it goes into STABLE.

Latest should be renamed RC then...

It's not really an RC as STABLE isn't a separate release.
