Hi all,

Been trying to install 9.3 on a brand new Sandisk Ultra Fit USB drive. The installation process works fine, but following a reboot, the drive seems to be disconnected due to I/O Error and subsequently couldn't finish mounting ROOT.

The error seems specific with this Sandisk drive as I've installed 9.3 successfully on the same machine with other non Sandisk USB drives. Really hoping to be able to use this drive since it's low-profile and doesn't stick out of our server racks.

Hardware: Dell PowerEdge R515 with Perc H200 card

Any ideas???

Thanks

Was this RELEASE or STABLE? If RELEASE, do you get the same error with the latest STABLE?

In that case, please create a bug report that contains the above errors at bugs.freenas.org and post the issue number here.
