Hello, I seem to have a sudden issue regarding my Mellanox CX354A ConnectX-3 40GbE NIC. Previously I had this working with a single 10GbE link directly to my proxmox server with iSCSI. I was using this to store VM disks, when suddenly a few hours ago it just stopped communicating. TrueNas Core showed its status as "Link State Down", but upon reboot it marks interface mxlen0 as having "No Traffic" with blank details for Media Type and Media Subtype. Ifconfig also does not even list the NIC as an interface at all, and I am at complete beginner level with TrueNas Core and BSD. The storage pools and all other systems seem completely fine, and even the iSCSI service is up and running.

I will provide any helpful information needed. Thank you.

Sounds like your QSFP may have burned out. Do you have a spare?

I do not, unfortunately. I do have a spare dual 10GbE NIC that I can swap in, especially since I already use the card at a 10Gb link. IS there any way which I can confirm or rule this out?

Swap the QSFPs on both ends of this link. If the TrueNAS side detects the media, that's a pretty good sign. If the other end no longer detects media, that's pretty good confirmation.
