3x2TB drives in Raidz1 gives 2.8TB

Hi All,

The title explains it all really.
All the drives are the same make and model.
At this point, the volume has had 2 datasets allocated from it. 750GB and 1TB.

Is this normal? Shouldn't the total available show closer to 4TB rather than 2.8TB?

If you'd searched the forum, you'd find that it's been answered many times. see: 2Tb = 1.8Tb usable

I don't know why you only see 2.8 vs 3.6.

I think you're being confused by ZFS calculations
