Hi everyone!
I've just set up my first Truenas Core server, which is basically a Dell PowerEdge R610 with a SAS 6/IR controller.
As the title mention, truenas only shows 2TB of the hdd, but if i install windows on the server it shows it properly (hdd is gpt partitioned).
I have read about this problem on the forum, but the most of the threads are outdated, and none of them mention, that any other OS can recognize the hdd properly.
I have also read thread about a firmware update for this controller card, which allows hdd up to 4TB.
I know It might solve the problem if I would replace the controller card.
So I would like to know if there is any chance to make this work, without replacing the card, or if not, what types of cards do you recommend?
I attach some pics, these pictures was taken on Hiren's (and in AOMei partition manager), the disk with the problem is assigned to letter C:.
Thank you in advance!
Sorry for bad english.
