25 Gigabit nic recommendations for Truenas Scale?

Hi, we are currently saturating our 10 gig nic. Does anyone here have any experience with 25gig nic's on truenas scale? What would be our best option for recommended support. We also have some spare intel x520 may it be a option to run portchannelig / teaming to get 20 gig?

You don't get 20Gb - you get 2*10Gb. As long as you have a lot of clients then you can get an aggregate speed of better than 10Gb. But you do need a substantial number of clients

I have no experiance of 25Gb NICs though. I though the next sensible upgrade was 100Gb rather than 25Gb

No experience with 25G, but I have a Chelsio T580 that works great for 40G.
