won't be overwritten or deleted after an upgrade?. I'm sending a TrueNAS with this NIC to a remote site and wouldn't like to lose networking ;-).Perfect! This saved my bacon. I was scared my hardware wasn't going to work but this did it.Success!. the only difference to the screenshot above that iocenter provided was that 'Type' changed back to LOADER and it worked. Brilliant. thank you all.

Nope im good now. Was on truenas 12.0-U1.1 but updating to 12.0-U6 made it work.i did this and my NIC still doesn't work. see screenshot. am i missing a step here? added tuneables and rebooted and nothin.

That's is for onboard NIC, I do have a USB(3)-C to 2.5Gb adaptor which currently plugged into this PC (PC & NAS direct 2.5Gb connection), I'll try and test it on my NAS tomorrow to if it works. BTW my NAS uses a Dell USB-C to 1Gb Ethernet Adaptor to connect to my network.@Hyacin
