SOLVED 12.0-U4: CPU Widget no longer updating

After updating from TrueNAS 12.0-U3.1 to 12.0-U4, I find that the CPU widget in the GUI is not showing highest usage, hottest temperature, and the individual thread usage and temperature. The average usage fills in once but does not update. I am starting to really regret having moved from 11.3-U5. This has been a month of nothing but hassle. Let's hope that at least the middlewared stops crashing. Any way to fix the GUI issue???

Did that, could not find anything. Can you point to the solution?

Should i hold off on updating from 12.0-u3 to 12.0-u4? I ask because I'm new to the community and do not have a reference of prior patching/updates times. I literally just setup 12.0-u3 about three weeks back - so figuratively still wet behind the ears ;-)

I suggest you wait.

I reverted my test/backup system to u3.1 within 10 minutes after installing u4.

The CPU widget issue is only cosmetic.
There are important fixes in U4

I upgraded because of a memory leak in U3. Memory usage is back in family with 11.3-U5 so I do not regret the update. I am hoping that the CPU widget issue will be resolved quickly and a manual patch can be done prior to release of 12.0-U5. Having said that if you do not have any issues, I would wait. I waited until release of U3.1 prior to upgrading from 11.3.

So, I patch is available on git, I just have no clue where the in the path the file needs to go because the path on git does not match with my TrueNAS installation. It does not look like compiled code, so does anyone know where to put this?

Thx! This doesn't seem to have been reviewed yet?

Right, but the change of a cosmetic issue seems to be trivial, so I am willing to risk testing it.
