11.3 current alerts in slack not clearing

I am using slack as the alerting mechanism in my 11.3 instance. The alerts send properly but with each "new" alert, I also get a list of "current" alerts that contains all of the scrub messages. These dont show up in the UI alerts list so I cant clear them. The list just continues to build up. Any idea how I go about clearing these alerts?
