Motherboard: ASUS P10S−I mini−ITX (latest BIOS & Fimrware)
CPU: Intel Xeon E3−1220 v6
RAM DDR4 16 GB UDIMM ECC
Hard drives 4x Seagate 7200 4TB (ST4000NM0115-1YZ107)
Hard disk controller: 4−Port mini−SAS HD 8843
Network: 2x Intel I210
This is a freshly delivered Server which I just setup last thursday... Setup the Disk's as RAIDZ2 and created some dataset's for NFS with proxmox and CIFS with Veeam.
On Saturday I first realized I can't reach the server, or commands on SSH-Console are stuck and the WebIf loads forever!
Today after I reseted it yesterday through IPMI I found this in the logs:
May 27 10:02:11 nas.xxx.lan ugen0.4: <JetFlash Mass Storage Device> at usbus0 (disconnected)
May 27 10:02:11 nas.xxx.lan umass2: at uhub0, port 21, addr 3 (disconnected)
May 27 10:02:11 nas.xxx.lan da2 at umass-sim2 bus 2 scbus9 target 0 lun 0
May 27 10:02:11 nas.xxx.lan da2: <JetFlash Transcend 16GB 1100> s/n 05N6W441U10JOAHA detached
May 27 10:02:11 nas.xxx.lan (da2:umass-sim2:2:0:0): Periph destroyed
May 27 14:16:11 nas.xxx.lan kernel: sonewconn: pcb 0xfffff800275f8000: Listen queue overflow: 193 already
So it seems my USB-Stick I used as install target get's disconnected from the bus...
I'm happy for any hint on how to solve this issue. As the board has more free SATA headers and a 2240 port available I just wanted to hear if that's a common issue with maybe the Motherboard or the USB-Stick Model...
