Since there is no "general" forum but OTOH this is not precisely off-topic, I'll try to post here.
Finally I was able to run all of these essential (for me!) services in a jail without any tricky post-init tasks, undocumented features or some such. The last bhyve VM turned into a jail. Now I only run Linux and Windows in VMs ...

- nameserver for local LAN
- HTTPS proxy for all public services
- OpenVPN server for administrative remote access
