10gb Mellanox card setup

Hi everyone,

I have 2 Mellanox Connectx-3 cards, one in my TrueNAS server and one in my QNAP TV-873. I want to transfer my data over this connection and not sure the best way to do it. I had transferred the data from QNAP to OMV and back over the connection but it was only getting 150-200MB/s. But in the past when I had one of the cards in my VM server connected to my QNAP NAS, I was seeing 10gb speeds. Could anyone help me get this configured properly? I have ALOT of data to transfer lol.

There's a 10 GIg Networking Primer that discusses the cards known to work well under FreeBSD. Trying to get random network cards to work well is very hit-or-miss.

I saw one comment of a person using Mellanox Connectx-2. I have a Connectx-3.

These are the ones I bought. Both systems see the cards and but getting the 10gb speeds is the part that I'm not sure of?
