What makes you think there could even be such a thing as a "disk compatibility issue"?

Without the output of zpool status -v and smartctl -a /dev/<your disk> it is quite difficult to help you in any way, no matter how much you "shout" by using bold text.

@EugenioTF Could you enclose that in code tags please, like so?
output
That helps readability quite a bit.

And zpool status -v is still missing.

Just jumping in here but did I miss your posting on your system specs? Please follow the forum rules and post all your system specs. This is drive "da25" so you have quite a large setup. This could be key in solving your problem.

Have you used a zpool replace command to replace the degraded disk with your new one?

I first turned off the disk (Offline), then made a replacement (Replace), it produced a Resolver and only then showed the checksum error. I bought this WD RED PLUS hard drive yesterday.

Yes, I just overloaded the server and changed the cable from another SATA controller. I bought this hard drive yesterday.

But I think the problem has not gone away. The second disk also needs to be changed, but it's a different story.

If two people are talking about the same problem with new hard drives, then there is reason to think that the problem is in Truenas.

I'd use a zpool clear followed by a zpool scrub.
A 26 disk wide RAIDZ3 does not look like a recommended configuration to me, though. But I cannot give you a definite statement on that.

Two people claiming to have the same problem. The first poster refused to provide any details so far.

I have now cleaned up ZPool and run Scrub. I'm waiting.

Thank you so much for your responsiveness and help. After cleaning up the Zpool and checking the Scrub, no errors have yet been detected on this hard drive.
