Depending on how many drives you want to add you might need a bigger PSU.

Btw, what is in your system?

Okay!! Are these cards just plug and play ? In India these cards are not easily available so I have to import it from china....


I have chosen this card for my system.... is it okay ?

It should be fine, but you should verify it's correctly flashed when you receive it.

As a note, Fake cards may run under Windows but tend to fail badly when pushed hard under TrueNAS. You probably want to ensure your card is a real, OEM HBA that won't fail you.

I have a old computer lying around my home with a specifications of

1. CPU - Intel Pentium G4560 (2C, 4T) 3.50Ghz
2. RAM - 16GB Crucial DDR4 2666 MHz
3. Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2
4. Storage - 1 x 240GB SSD (TrueNAS Core OS), 2 x 1TB HDD (Main Storage)
5. PSU - 350Watts
