VM error for debian 11

Usually configuring sshd in a jail is straightforward.
Maybe there is something wrong in the jail configuration
Could you please post the full jail configuration

I know this is not likely what you want to hear. I get it. Nice to have a single NAS appliance running as storage and VMs. The fact is TrueNAS is a storage solution first. Virtualization and containers is a bonus.

Perhaps TrueNAS virtualization and containers will improve over time, but until then I am pleased with Proxmox. https://www.proxmox.com/en/

Okay i will look into it, but have not planned to get a spare NAS anytime soon tho. Thanks anyway for the input, always interested in expanding my knowledge ;)

Sorry I was away from home for a while. I must be stupid but the command does not work or i'm doing something fundamentally wrong...

Please use ssh to connect instead of the web shell and try again. And copy and past text instead of screen shots. Thanks.

You must run the iocage command in the TrueNAS shell and not in the jail shell.
