Side note for that Plex jail: Plex uses scratch space for transcoding. If you run out of space on that ssd, you can always stick Plex into your main pool.
I have seen people run jails from SSD; I have yet to understand why. It could just be “because we can”, or maybe there are specific jails that benefit from the increased IOPS of an SSD for their in-jail data. Plex certainly is fine on your main pool, performance wise.
