Anyone know how to upgrade CouchPotato to version that supports 3D Quality option? I had it on my Lenovo IX4-300D NAS.

CP should autoupdate on it's own but there was a bug in CP's updater that broke something. I'll release an updated PBI within a week that should fix this.

It should be pretty easy once i get the updated PBI in the repo. Either update or reinstall the plugin once it's available.

a warning to those updating. backup your /usr/pbi/couchpotato-amd64/etc/couchpotato

this directory is now at /var/db/couchpotato

Sorry for being a noob but not sure how to upgrade this. I tried to upload to the jail but doesn't seem to be working.

you don't yet. you either create a new one with the pbi, or you wait till it hits the repo and there should be an update option.

I deleted the old version. I uploaded the 9.2.0 PBI to the jail. Now when I look at installed plugins I see it OFF. I have upgrade or delete button. If try to turn in on it always goes back off.

sounds right. start CP and your done.

FreeNAS will happily downgrade you to the current repo version.

When I start it via the plugin section on FreeNAS it never stays on.

the pbi I uploaded? mind running 'service couchpotato onestart' and see the issue.
that pbi worked in my brief testing, but it might have been a bad upload or something

Just rebooted and seems like it started. I will mess with setting and see if working! Thanks!

I'm curious, I was trying to figure out if unrar was part of the PBI, I can't seem to find it in there?

Need is probably too strong a word. Most download programs probably perform that function before anything gets to Couchpotato.

It does however have a setting under it's rename panel to extract any RAR files it finds and advanced settings for where to find the executable file.

I'd say perhaps add it the next time you do a big update?

ahh I didn't know CP could do that. k, I'll add it. do you happen to know if Heaphones or any thing else does the same?
