## [TrueNAS 25.10.5: Resolving Security Vulnerabilities in the AI Era](https://www.truenas.com/blog/truenas-25-10-5-resolving-security-vulnerabilities/)

Jul 24, 2026

TrueNAS 25.10.4 is now the most popular version of TrueNAS and has reached General and Mission-critical status. TrueNAS 25.10.5 patches eight kernel CVEs (including two local privilege escalations) and fixes six production bugs spanning backup, monitoring, and access control. It’s the fifth point release in the 25.10 line since October 2025, and 25.10 is now running on more systems than any other version TrueNAS ever has.

## [TrueNAS Self-Healing Storage — When Every Bit Matters](https://www.truenas.com/blog/self-healing-storage-when-every-bit-matters/)

Jul 17, 2026

Enterprise storage is usually evaluated on three familiar dimensions: performance, capacity, and price. Those metrics matter. But they leave out a more fundamental question: Can you trust the data? That question deserves a much bigger role in enterprise infrastructure...

TrueNAS Connect is TrueNAS's browser-based management service — it lets you deploy, monitor, and update TrueNAS systems from one dashboard instead of logging into each one separately. Eight months after launch, TrueNAS Connect is on its way to a three-tier structure:...

## [Disk Isn’t Dead – Why Hybrid Storage is Hot Again](https://www.truenas.com/blog/disk-isnt-dead-why-hybrid-storage-is-hot-again/)

Jul 2, 2026

The all-flash default made sense for a while. NVMe prices dropped fast enough that overprovisioning felt responsible. Why spend time designing careful storage tiers when flash was cheap enough to ignore the question? That logic expired somewhere around late 2025, when...

Jun 18, 2026

The full V-Series platform, sized for the workloads most teams actually run. There's a version of every storage refresh that ends with a system bigger and faster than the workload ever needed, plus a support contract to match. The headroom looks great on the spec...

## [Ransomware Detection and Rapid Recovery at the Data Layer](https://www.truenas.com/blog/ransomware-recovery-at-data-layer/)

Jun 4, 2026

Ransomware rarely starts at the storage layer. It begins with a credential leak, a phished endpoint, or an unpatched service. But for the enterprise, the financial and operational impact is decided in the first few hours of recovery, where leadership needs to answer...
